Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist
About The Position
SynergenX & Low T Center are nationally recognized leaders in hormone replacement therapy, weight management, and targeted wellness services. We are currently seeking a motivated and dependable Medical Assistant to join our growing team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play an important role in creating an exceptional patient experience while supporting the day-to-day clinical operations of the center. We are looking for someone who is professional, detail-oriented, energetic, compassionate, and eager to learn and grow.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 3 months of relevant medical experience performing phlebotomy, injections, and vitals OR completion of a documented 180-hour externship
- Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Dependable, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible availability, including some evenings and Saturdays
- Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check
Nice To Haves
- Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy certification preferred
- Experience performing venipuncture and intramuscular/subcutaneous injections highly preferred
Responsibilities
- Record accurate manual vitals
- Perform routine blood draws and venipuncture
- Administer intramuscular and subcutaneous injections as directed by the provider
- Maintain laboratory equipment and complete required quality control documentation
- Run in-house labs and prepare specimens for outside laboratory testing
- Ensure accurate documentation and proper handling of patient lab work
- Assist with inventory management, supply organization, and ordering
- Support front desk operations when needed
- Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and team members
- Help create a positive, welcoming, and efficient clinic environment
