About The Position

SynergenX & Low T Center is seeking energetic, outgoing Medical Assistants for a part-time position, with a maximum of 20 hours per week. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy a fast-paced, team-oriented, and patient-focused environment. The company provides two weeks of paid training, and Medical Assistant certification or licensure is not required. The position offers an opportunity to build skills, gain hands-on experience, and grow with a company specializing in hormone replacement therapy, weight management, and wellness.

Requirements

  • Physical proof of a high school diploma or GED is required
  • Minimum of 3 months of relevant experience in a medical setting performing phlebotomy, injections, and vitals OR documented completion of at least 180 externship hours
  • Must successfully complete a criminal background check
  • Must be able to work the clinic's scheduled hours
  • Must be available to work a part-time schedule of up to 20 hours per week

Nice To Haves

  • Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy certification is preferred, but not required
  • Experience performing venipuncture and intramuscular/subcutaneous injections is highly preferred
  • Candidates with the right foundation, strong people skills, a willingness to learn, and the personality to thrive in a busy clinic
  • Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable talking with patients
  • Energetic and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Dependable and ready to jump in when the team needs help

Responsibilities

  • Taking manual vitals
  • Performing routine blood draws
  • Administering intramuscular and subcutaneous injections as directed by a provider
  • Preparing and processing laboratory specimens
  • Maintaining lab equipment, documentation, results, and quality controls
  • Making sure the correct labs are ordered and properly prepared
  • Assisting with weekly inventory and ordering
  • Jumping in to support the front desk when needed
  • Working closely with providers and your clinic team
  • Creating a friendly, positive experience for every patient
