About The Position

The Medical Assistant (MA) is accountable for providing excellent direct patient care alongside providers, supporting the Patient Centered Medical Home model of care, and maintaining accurate and complete documentation in patients’ medical records. The position supports the Emerald Clinic in Boise, Idaho, and is scheduled for 32 hours per week.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program or graduation from an accredited College of Nursing as an LPN.
• Current certification through American Medical Technologists, American Association of Medical Assistants, American Registry of Medical Assistants, an accredited certifying organization, or licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• Comply with the organization’s immunization requirements, including annual influenza vaccination, or apply for an exemption before employment if unable to be vaccinated for medical reasons or sincerely held religious beliefs.

Nice To Haves

• Previous Medical Assistant or LPN experience.
• Previous experience in a primary care clinic or outpatient setting.
