About The Position

Join The Oregon Clinic as a full-time (36 hours per week) Credentialed Medical Assistant at our Broadway Medical Clinic in Northeast Portland. You will work alongside a collaborative team of patient-focused colleagues and physicians, delivering world-class care with kindness and empathy. Your role is crucial in providing patients and stakeholders with a consistent, efficient, and easy experience, ensuring the highest-value care tailored to patient needs. This position requires excellent customer service and communication skills.

Requirements

• Certification through a national agency such as AAMA, NCCT, etc. is strongly preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS within 60 days of hire.
• Excellent attendance and work ethic.
• Positive attitude and desire to be a team player.
• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, physicians, and other team members.
• A commitment to patient-focused care, privacy, and safety.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of one (1) year of previous experience as a Medical Assistant is strongly preferred. New Grads welcome to apply.
• ACLS may be required by specialty.
• Prior Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience is strongly preferred.
• EPIC experience is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Assisting the medical staff by collecting information, escorting patients to exam rooms, and preparing patients for examination.
• Assisting with procedures and performing related tests/monitoring.
• Scheduling appointments for new and established patients as needed.
• Maintaining a comfortable, orderly, safe, and clean environment.
• Utilizing EMR to process prescriptions, retrieve test results, and patient files.
• Updating records as needed.
• Cross-training in multiple areas and/or assigned additional clinic duties.
• Assisting with the overall delivery of patient care in the department.
• Other duties as assigned.
