About The Position

Join The Oregon Clinic as a full-time (36 hours per week) Credentialed Medical Assistant at our Broadway Medical Clinic in Northeast Portland. You will work alongside a collaborative team of patient-focused colleagues and physicians, contributing to our mission of delivering world-class care with kindness and empathy. Your role is crucial in ensuring patients receive high-value care tailored to their needs by providing a consistent, efficient, and easy experience for patients and stakeholders.

Requirements

Minimum of one (1) year of previous experience as a Medical Assistant is strongly preferred.
New Grads welcome to apply.
Certification through a national agency such as AAMA, NCCT, etc. is strongly preferred.
Current CPR/BLS within 60 days of hire. ACLS may be required by specialty.
Prior Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience is strongly preferred. EPIC experience is a plus!
Excellent attendance and work ethic.

Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, physicians, and other team members.

Responsibilities

Assisting the medical staff by collecting information, escorting patients to exam rooms, and preparing patients for examination.
Assisting with procedures and performing related tests/monitoring.
Scheduling appointments for new and established patients as needed.
Maintaining a comfortable, orderly, safe, and clean environment.
Utilizing EMR to process prescriptions, retrieve test results, and patient files.
Updating records as needed.
Cross-training in multiple areas and/or assigned additional clinic duties.
Assisting with the overall delivery of patient care in the department.
Other duties as assigned.
