About The Position
Orthopedic Associates (OA) is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant-Clinical to join its growing team at the Vandalia office. The role supports physicians and care teams in providing efficient, high-quality orthopedic care and helps create a professional, positive, and respectful experience for patients, families, and colleagues. Occasional travel to other OA offices may be needed to provide support.
Requirements
- Healthcare industry experience in a role such as CMA, MA, STNA, CNA, or PCT.
- Compassionate, respectful, professional, dependable, positive, and adaptable approach to patient care and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care, including removing dressings, splints, casts, braces, staples, and sutures; scribing HPI; and verifying medical history.
- Support physicians and care teams in delivering efficient, high-quality care.
- Sterilize patient rooms and supplies.
- Provide reassurance and clear communication to patients.
- Occasionally travel to other OA offices to provide support.
