Requirements

  • 2-year degree in Mechatronics, Electronic Technology, Mechanical Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 1–3 years of experience in equipment maintenance, preferably with automated systems.
  • Working knowledge of basic electrical and mechanical principles.
  • Experience with motors, drives, belts, bearings, and other mechanical components.
  • Basic understanding of automated systems and industrial equipment.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel approximately 50% and work independently at customer sites.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate on-site installation and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and automated systems.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and align electrical and mechanical automated system equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and clear electrical, mechanical, and software-related system faults.
  • Monitor automated system performance and work with customers to resolve high-impact issues.
  • Develop and maintain standards, tools, and procedures for hardware and automation projects.
  • Monitor external suppliers and support installation and maintenance activities.
  • Travel to customer sites for installations, service, training, and vacation relief; work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Train internal and external customers to increase system knowledge and prevent recurring issues.
  • Update system manuals, technical documentation, and maintenance procedures.
  • Attend and participate in customer meetings.
  • Support customer requests, system changes, and service activities.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and resolving equipment and automation issues.
  • Communicate system status, findings, and recommended corrective actions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
