About The Position

Jabil’s Summer Internship Program provides interns with opportunities to engage with company leaders and participate in professional development, networking, social, and community events. Interns also work together on committees, receive a mentor, and may tour Jabil facilities. The program description refers to the summer 2027 cohort. Mechanical System Architect Interns work with system architects and contribute to technical direction for customer projects and Jabil cloud-computing product offerings. The role includes a primary project involving project management and solution development, documenting product requirements, communicating design plans and tradeoffs, assessing system layout and mechanical feasibility, and collaborating across mechanical, electrical, thermal, firmware, and software domains. Interns train on detailed design requirements for computing components and gain hands-on experience assembling and disassembling cloud-computing products.
