Mechanical Design Engineer / Creo, GD&T, ASME Y14

Global Engineering & Technology, Inc. (GET)•Panhandle, TX
•$147,500 - $165,000•Onsite

About The Position

Global Engineering & Technology (GET) is hiring Mechanical Design Engineers to support national security work at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL), checking design definition for the first new weapon system program in over 30 years. The role requires expertise in Creo 3D CAD, hardware design and fabrication, GD&T, and engineering concepts. Engineers may guide multidisciplinary teams through design iterations to address potential engineering defects, lead technical work on complex or unique problems, and mentor junior staff on model-based definition (MBD) and GD&T. Completed work is expected to meet expert standards with little direction. The position is 100% onsite at LANL in Los Alamos, New Mexico. Long-term travel arrangements and per diem are available, subject to LANL travel guidelines. Candidates must be U.S. citizens and able to obtain and maintain a DOE Q security clearance; an existing Top Secret or DOE Q clearance is highly sought after. Nuclear, SSP, and NNSA experience are highly regarded. The stated compensation range is $115,000–$130,000 per year, depending on qualifications. GET offers full-time employees benefits effective on the first day of employment, with spouse/family coverage available at a company-subsidized rate.
