MECHANICAL ASSEMBLY - 1st Shift
About The Position
Perform highly repetitive bench operations to assemble units or sub-assemblies with few parts and details, where tolerances are liberal or controlled by jigs and fixtures. This is a fast-paced assembly environment working in a cell. The Mechanical Assembler B must have the physical and mental ability to perform the necessary job functions while maintaining an exemplary safety record. The position works Monday through Thursday, 6 a.m. to 4 p.m., at $20 per hour. Employees are eligible for a $250 monthly bonus based on attendance and safety. A 90-day review offers an opportunity for a pay increase based on performance. The company also offers a competitive benefits package and monthly employee events. Requirements
- General knowledge of machining fundamentals, shop arithmetic, print reading, and measuring procedures.
- Ability to perform the job’s physical and mental functions while maintaining an exemplary safety record.
- One year of basic assembly experience in a manufacturing or machining environment is preferred.

Responsibilities
- Assemble units or sub-assemblies.

- Follow detailed work instructions.
- Make minor adjustments to ensure free action of moving parts and meet operating requirements.
- Inspect parts and recognize defective parts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
