About The Position

Pentair is seeking a Mechanical Pump Assembly Operator for its New Brighton, Minnesota team. The operator assembles pump components according to bills of material, tests completed assemblies against documented specifications, and packages products. The role also supports workplace 5S, contributes ideas for improving production methods and daily output, and offers suggestions to improve Safety and Health (AWAIR) programs.

The position is on the first shift, Monday through Thursday, from 4:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with overtime as needed. The hourly pay is $21.00, with an opportunity for a rate increase after proficiency in certain skills and completion of training. Actual pay may vary based on factors including achievements, skills, and experience. Production-floor workers are required to wear steel-toed shoes and safety glasses. Physical activities include standing, walking, twisting at the waist, and lifting and lowering weights up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

• Experience reading and using blueprints.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Ability to stand, walk, twist at the waist, and lift and lower weights up to 50 pounds.
• Wear steel-toed shoes and safety glasses on the production floor.
• Be available to work overtime as needed.
