About The Position

Pentair is hiring a Mechanical Pump Assembly Operator for its New Brighton, Minnesota team. The operator assembles pump components according to bills of material, tests assemblies against documented specifications, and packages products. The role uses hand and power tools and supports workplace 5S, production improvements, and Safety and Health (AWAIR) programs.

This is a first-shift position scheduled from 4:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, with availability for overtime as needed. The stated hourly pay is $21.00, with an opportunity for a rate increase after proficiency in certain skills and completion of training. Actual pay may vary based on factors including achievements, skills, and experience.

Requirements

• Experience reading and using blueprints is required.
• Experience using hand and power tools is required.
• Ability to stand, walk, twist at the waist, and lift and lower weights up to 50 pounds.
• Steel-toed shoes and safety glasses are required on the production floor.
• Must be available to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assemble pump components according to the bill of material.
• Test assemblies to documented specifications and pack products.
• Support and promote 5S in the workplace.
• Contribute to developing better methods and increasing daily production output.
• Offer ideas and suggestions for improving Safety and Health (AWAIR) programs.
