About The Position

Pentair is hiring a Mechanical Pump Assembly Operator for its New Brighton, Minnesota team. The role involves using hand and power tools to assemble pump components according to bills of material, testing completed assemblies to documented specifications, and properly packaging products. The operator also supports workplace 5S, contributes to improved production methods and daily output, and offers ideas to improve Safety and Health (AWAIR) programs.

This is a first-shift position, Monday through Thursday, from 4:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Overtime may be required as needed. The hourly pay is $21.00, with an opportunity for a rate increase after proficiency in certain skills and completion of training. Actual pay may vary based on achievements, skills, and experience.

Requirements

• Experience reading and using blueprints.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of standing, walking, twisting at the waist, and lifting and lowering weights up to 50 pounds.
• Wear steel-toed shoes and safety glasses on the production floor.
• Availability to work overtime as needed.
