About The Position

The Meat & Seafood Clerk delivers exceptional customer service and provides product knowledge within the department. The role prepares specialty merchandise, including sausage, ready-to-cook products, and cured meats. The clerk ensures the Meat and Seafood Department is well stocked, clean, organized, rotated, and appropriately merchandised, including maintaining proper signage and pricing.

Requirements

• Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and squat.
• Must be able to push, pull, and maneuver heavy loads.
• Must be able to stand and be on one's feet during the workday.
• Demonstrated ability in knife handling, use of other cutting equipment, and safety procedures.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of meat cuts and cooking techniques preferred.
