Grocery Clerk - Earth Fare Athens
About The Position
Earth Fare Team Members help ensure customers have a fulfilling store visit by answering questions and meeting shopping needs. The company’s mission is to help people live healthy lives, and Team Members guide customers toward trusted healthy food and wellness and household products that meet Earth Fare’s standards. The Grocery Clerk provides customer service in the grocery, dairy, and frozen food departments and keeps those areas stocked, clean, organized, rotated, and appropriately merchandised. The clerk maintains an attractive sales floor using Earth Fare merchandising guidelines as outlined by the Grocery Manager.
Requirements
- Work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and squat.
- Ability to push, pull, and maneuver heavy loads.
- Ability to stand and be on one's feet during the workday.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of common allergies and specialized dietary terms such as gluten-free, vegan, and vegetarian.
- Experience working in a retail and/or customer service-oriented environment.
