About The Position
Meat clerks keep the pre-packaged meat section well stocked and orderly. They order and unload products, stock shelves, build displays, and wrap, weigh, price, and merchandise meat department products as required. They maintain a clean work area, follow safety rules, and may perform other tasks in a meat preparation area. They must know store products and their locations to assist customers and follow strict standards for sanitation, food safety, and personal hygiene.
