About The Position

The MB Team Lead supports effective production operations by maintaining the technical and leadership skills needed to administer the production process. The role promotes safe and clean work areas, helps administer company policies, supports employee morale and communication, assists with daily staffing allocation, and helps train and coach associates. Team Leads are also expected to participate in training and safety programs to improve the effectiveness of their work areas.

Requirements

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to initiate, lead, and participate in problem-solving activities related to supplier quality issues.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, delegation, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Adaptability to change and a desire to make a difference.
• Solid math and measurement skills.
• Willingness to hold oneself and others accountable to safety and quality policies and procedures.
• Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

• Expertise in Excel is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote clean, safe work areas throughout the plant by continuously checking for hazardous conditions.
• Assist with consistently administering company policies and practices regarding attendance, performance, and related matters.
• Maintain employee morale by portraying a positive image of the company.
• Communicate with employees on a regular basis.
• Assist with allocating daily staffing needs by reviewing workload requirements and initiating appropriate action.
• Assist in training and coaching new and existing associates within the department so they can perform their job responsibilities effectively.
• Participate in training and safety programs to enhance the overall effectiveness of the work area(s).
• Maintain the technical and leadership skills required to effectively administer the production process.
