About the position
Acquisition Managers are responsible for handling and tracking inbound leads, scheduling appointments with prospective sellers, visiting and inspecting properties, and negotiating purchase agreements. They secure contracts with sellers and provide follow-up support throughout the closing process. The role requires excellent people skills, problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic. Prior real estate experience is not necessary, but sales experience is preferred. The job involves a combination of office work and field work, with after-hours responsibilities as needed. Physical requirements include the ability to drive a vehicle and perform various physical tasks.
Responsibilities
- Handling and tracking all inbound leads through marketing efforts
- Scheduling appointments with prospective sellers
- Visiting and inspecting properties
- Negotiating purchase agreements with sellers
- Securing contracts with sellers
- Following up with sellers throughout the closing process
- Making initial and follow-up calls to warm leads
- Collecting information from prospective sellers
- Building relationships with sellers
- Keeping detailed and accurate notes of all leads in the CRM
- Visiting prospective sellers in their home
- Discovering ways to solve problems
- Following up and assisting until closing
- Maintaining continuous training and improvement programs
Requirements
- No prior real estate experience needed
- Sales experience preferred but not required
- Excellent people and soft skills
- Robust problem-solving abilities

- Able to handle a fast-paced environment

Benefits
- Office time: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm M-F
- After hours responsibilities: As needed to ensure leads are followed up in a timely manner. Other after-hours responsibilities include meeting prospective sellers on their schedule.
- Physical Requirements: Be able to sit, stand, bend, turn, twist, kneel, squat, reach out, reach up and grasp. Be able to drive a vehicle. Be able to crawl, climb a ladder, climb stairs, or use a step stool.

- Environmental Requirements: Be able to work in office environments, frequently. Be able to work in vehicle environments, frequently. Be able to work in outside environments where you may be exposed to the elements (hot, cold, rain, sun, etc.) occasionally.
- Other Requirements: Must be able to proficiently use smart phones, tablets, computers, software, apps and printers related to the job. Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance and secure reliable transportation. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen. Must be able to pass a random selection drug screen.
