About The Position
Brightmont Academy is hiring a part-time Math & Science Teacher to provide personalized one-to-one instruction to students in grades 1–12. Teachers tailor instruction to each student’s needs and learning style, guiding students toward mastery through a gradual-release approach that builds confidence and academic success. The role emphasizes teaching and inspiring students without lesson planning, parent conferences, or grading outside of instruction. Professional development opportunities are available. Brightmont Academy has provided one-to-one education since 1999 and operates 28 campuses across 11 states. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject area, such as math, chemistry, physics, engineering, or biology.
- Patience and empathy, with a commitment to supporting students with different learning needs.
- Genuine passion for teaching and sharing subject knowledge.
- Proficiency using G-Suite and learning management software (LMS).
- Ability to provide fingerprints in Arizona or Washington, where applicable, and pass a federal background check.
