About The Position
Brightmont Academy is hiring a part-time Math & Science Teacher to provide personalized, one-to-one instruction to students in grades 1–12. Teachers tailor lessons to students’ needs and learning styles and guide them toward mastery using a gradual-release approach that builds confidence and academic success. Lesson planning, parent conferences, and grading are not part of the role, allowing teachers to focus on instruction. The position offers a flexible schedule and professional development opportunities. Pay is $22–$23 per hour.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject area, such as math, chemistry, physics, engineering, or biology.
- Patience and empathy, with a commitment to supporting students with different learning needs.
- Genuine passion for teaching and sharing subject knowledge.
- Proficiency using G-Suite and learning management software (LMS).
- Ability to provide fingerprints in Arizona or Washington, where applicable, and pass a federal background check.
