About The Position
Brightmont Academy is hiring a part-time Math & Science Teacher to provide personalized one-to-one instruction to students in grades 1–12. Teachers tailor lessons to individual students’ needs and learning styles and guide them toward mastery through a gradual-release approach that supports confidence and academic success. The role does not require lesson planning, parent conferences, or grading outside of teaching. Professional development opportunities are available.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject area, such as math, chemistry, physics, engineering, or biology.
- Patience, empathy, and commitment to supporting students with different learning needs.
- Genuine passion for teaching and sharing subject knowledge.
- Proficiency using G-Suite and learning management software (LMS).
- Ability to provide fingerprints in Arizona or Washington, if applicable, and pass a federal background check.
