About The Position

Brightmont Academy is hiring a part-time Math & Science Teacher to provide personalized one-to-one instruction to students in grades 1–12. The role focuses on tailoring instruction to each student’s needs and learning style and guiding students toward mastery through a gradual-release approach that builds confidence and academic success.

The position offers a flexible schedule and requires no lesson planning, parent conferences, or outside grading. Professional development opportunities are available to support teaching growth. The listed pay is $22–$23 per hour.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject area, such as math, chemistry, physics, engineering, or biology.
• Patience and empathy, with a commitment to supporting students who learn differently.
• Genuine passion for teaching and sharing subject knowledge with the next generation.
• Proficiency using G-Suite and learning management software (LMS).
• Ability to provide fingerprints in Arizona or Washington, where applicable, and pass a federal background check.
