About The Position

Brightmont Academy is hiring a part-time Math & Science Teacher to provide personalized one-to-one instruction to students in grades 1–12. Teachers tailor instruction to each student’s needs and learning style, using a gradual-release approach to help students build confidence and achieve mastery. The role offers a flexible schedule and does not require lesson planning, parent conferences, or grading outside teaching. The listed pay is $25–$28 per hour. Brightmont Academy has provided one-to-one education since 1999 and operates 28 campuses across 11 states.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject area, such as Math, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, or Biology.
• Patience and empathy, with a commitment to supporting students who learn differently.
• Genuine passion for teaching and sharing subject knowledge.
• Proficiency with G-Suite and learning management software (LMS).
• Ability to provide fingerprints in Arizona or Washington, where applicable, and pass a federal background check.
