About The Position

Mathnasium of Mathnasium (ID: 2418601) is seeking a Math Instructor / Tutor to teach K–12 students using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices. Instruction may take place in-center and/or online. The role involves collaborating with team members to provide individualized instruction in a group setting, monitoring students’ learning progress and engagement, and becoming proficient with digital educational materials and processes.

The position offers consistent part-time hours after school and on weekends, with availability required at least three days per week during the center’s hours of Monday through Friday, 2:30 PM–7:00 PM. Applicants must take a math literacy test as part of the hiring process. The advertised compensation is $17.00–$21.00 per hour. The center is independently owned and operated by a Mathnasium franchisee, who is the employer and is responsible for employment matters.

Requirements

• Passion for math and working with students.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Eagerness to learn and be trained.
• Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra 2.
• Availability at least three days per week during center hours, Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–7:00 PM.
• Take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency as part of the hiring process.
