Math Instructor / Tutor
About The Position
Mathnasium of North Alpharetta is hiring an instructor to teach K–12 students using the Mathnasium Method™. Instruction may take place in-center and/or online, using Mathnasium terminology, teaching practices, curriculum, and instructional tools. The role involves delivering individualized instruction in a group setting, monitoring students’ learning progress and engagement, and becoming proficient with digital educational materials and processes. The position offers consistent part-time hours after school and on weekends, a supportive work culture, ongoing training in teaching methodologies, and opportunities for advancement. Applicants must demonstrate math proficiency through at least Algebra I and complete a math literacy test as part of the hiring process. Mathnasium locations are independently owned and operated; if hired, the applicant’s employer will be the local franchisee.
Requirements
- Passion for math and working with students.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Eagerness to learn and be trained.
- Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I.
- Complete a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency as part of the hiring process.
Responsibilities
