Math Instructor / Tutor
About The Position
Mathnasium of Mathnasium (ID: 4102702) is seeking Math Instructor / Tutors to teach K–12 students using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices. Instructors collaborate with team members to provide individualized instruction in a group setting, assess student progress and engagement, and become proficient with digital educational materials and processes. This role offers consistent part-time hours after school and on weekends, a supportive work culture, opportunities for advancement, and continuous training in effective teaching methodologies. Curriculum and instructional tools are provided. The center is independently owned and operated by a Mathnasium franchisee, which is responsible for employment matters and would be the employer if hired.
Requirements
- Passion for math and working with students.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Eagerness to learn and be trained.
- Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I.
- Complete a math literacy test as part of the hiring process to demonstrate math proficiency.
