Math Instructor / Tutor
About The Position
Mathnasium of Mathnasium (ID: 4000201) is seeking Math Instructor / Tutors to teach K–12th grade students in-center and/or online. Instructors use the Mathnasium Method™, its terminology, and teaching practices to provide individualized instruction in a group setting. The position includes assessing students’ progress and engagement and becoming proficient with digital educational materials and processes. The role offers part-time hours after school and on weekends, a supportive work culture, training, and opportunities for advancement. Applicants must take a math literacy test as part of the hiring process. Mathnasium Learning Centers teach children math so they can understand it, master it, and love it. Their curriculum is based on the Mathnasium Method™, developed through decades of hands-on instruction.
Requirements
- Passion for math and working with students.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Eagerness to learn and be trained.
- Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I.
- Pass a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency.
Responsibilities
