About The Position

Mathnasium of Mathnasium (ID: 2418601) is seeking a Math Instructor / Tutor to teach K–12 students in-center and/or online using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices. Instructors work with team members to provide individualized instruction in a group setting and assess students’ learning progress and engagement during instructional sessions. They are also expected to become proficient with digital educational materials and processes. The role offers consistent part-time hours after school and on weekends, with availability required at least three days per week during center hours. The center provides training, curriculum, and instructional tools. Applicants must take a math literacy test as part of the hiring process. Mathnasium Learning Centers teach children math so they can understand it, master it, and love it. Their curriculum is based on the Mathnasium Method™, developed through decades of hands-on instruction. Each location is independently owned and operated by a franchisee, who is responsible for employment matters and would be the employer.

Requirements

Passion for math and working with students.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Eagerness to learn and be trained.
Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra 2.
Availability at least three days per week during center hours: Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–7:00 PM.
Take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency as part of the hiring process.
