Math Instructor / Tutor
About The Position
Mathnasium of Mathnasium (ID: 2412601) is seeking Math Instructor / Tutors to teach K–12th grade students in-center and/or online using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices. Instructors work collaboratively with team members to provide individualized instruction in a group setting, assess students’ learning progress and engagement, and become proficient with digital educational materials and processes. The role offers part-time hours after school and on weekends, a supportive work culture, opportunities for advancement, continuous training in teaching methodologies, and the curriculum and instructional tools needed for the work. Applicants must complete a math literacy test as part of the hiring process. Mathnasium centers are independently owned and operated by franchisees, who are responsible for employment matters and serve as the employer for people hired at their centers.
Requirements
- Passion for math and working with students.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Eagerness to learn and be trained.
- Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I.
- Complete a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency as part of the hiring process.
