About The Position

Mathnasium of Mathnasium (ID: 2903501) is seeking Math Instructor / Tutors to teach K–12 students using the Mathnasium Method™. Instructors teach in-center and/or online, collaborate with team members to provide individualized instruction in a group setting, and assess students’ learning progress and engagement. The position offers consistent part-time hours after school and on weekends, a supportive work culture, training, and opportunities for advancement. Curriculum and instructional tools are provided. Applicants must complete a math literacy test as part of the hiring process. Mathnasium Learning Centers teach children math so they can understand it, master it, and love it. The curriculum is based on the Mathnasium Method™, developed through decades of hands-on instruction. Centers are independently owned and operated by franchisees, who are responsible for employment matters; a person hired at a center is employed by that franchisee.

Requirements

Passion for math and working with students.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Eagerness to learn and be trained.
Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I.
Complete a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency as part of the hiring process.
