About The Position

Provide high-quality, part-time instruction to students in accordance with C2 Educational Systems Inc.'s curriculum and educational philosophy. The role focuses on fostering a positive learning environment and supporting students' academic growth and development. The tutor must be able to teach in person. Sessions take place after school and are typically Monday through Thursday from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; schedules may vary by location.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Score at the 95th percentile on C2's diagnostic SAT, AP, or ACT test.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons aligned with the prescribed curriculum and learning goals.
• Regularly assess students’ progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents or guardians.
• Maintain accurate student records and documentation.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to create a supportive and enriching learning environment.
• Communicate with parents or guardians about student progress and concerns.
• Participate in professional development to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices.
• Adhere to C2 Educational Systems Inc.'s policies and procedures.
• Perform other relevant duties as assigned to meet the needs of students.
