SAT English Tutor
About The Position
C2 Education is hiring a part-time SAT English Tutor to provide high-quality instruction in accordance with C2 Educational Systems Inc.’s curriculum and educational philosophy. The role focuses on creating a positive learning environment and supporting students’ academic growth and development. C2 Education supports students with college test preparation, AP exams, college essays and admissions, K–12 tutoring, and AP/Summer Boot Camps. Tutoring sessions take place after school to accommodate students. The typical schedule is Monday through Thursday, 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Saturdays, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; schedules may vary by location. The position is based in Short Hills, New Jersey, with negligible travel.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Score at the 95th percentile on C2’s diagnostic SAT, AP, or ACT test.

Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons aligned with the prescribed curriculum and learning goals.
- Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents or guardians.
- Maintain accurate student records and documentation.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to create a supportive and enriching learning environment.
- Communicate with parents or guardians about student progress and concerns.
- Participate in professional development to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices.
- Follow C2 Educational Systems Inc.’s policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties relevant to the position and students’ needs, as assigned.
