SAT Tutor - Immediate Assignment
About The Position
The Association of Test Preparation, Admissions, and Private Tutoring (TPAPT) is seeking motivated and engaging SAT tutors for assignments in the Tampa area. This is a contract position with compensation ranging from $45-$50 per hour, commensurate with experience. Tutoring will take place in-person at a neutral location or in the student's home. Assignments are typically 60 minutes long and generally scheduled between 2pm and 9pm on weekdays during the school year, and between 10am and 4pm on weekend days. Summer hours may include times between 10am and 4pm during the week. Tutors will be provided with TPAPT SAT course materials and will receive a TPAPT Approved Tutor badge. No marketing is required.
Requirements
- Strong past SAT or ACT scores
- 2-6 hours per week of availability
- Earned Bachelor's Degree from a US 4 year degree granting college
- Exceptional communication skills
- Past experience tutoring or teaching the SAT or ACT
- A passion for helping others learn
- Submit a resume which highlights your specific experience tutoring SAT and the length of time you have been tutoring (or teaching) in a paid capacity.
