Math Instructor / Tutor
About The Position
Mathnasium of Villages of Westcreek is seeking an exceptional Math Tutor to create an engaging and productive learning experience for students. This is a part-time role with flexible hours. Instruction may be delivered in-center, online, and/or in a hybrid format, using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices. The approach includes individualized instruction in a group setting. The company has been open for two years and typically employs 5–8 instructors, most of whom are college students. The role offers experience supporting students and may be valuable for a résumé, particularly for people interested in teaching.
Requirements
- Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra 2.
- A passion for math and working with students.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional instruction and tutoring services to students.
- Interact positively with parents.
- Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes.
- Teach in-center, online, and/or through hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices, including individualized instruction in a group setting.
- Assess students’ progress throughout instructional sessions and collaborate with team members to deliver the best learning experience.
