About The Position

Mathnasium of Mathnasium (ID: 2418601) is seeking Math Instructor / Tutors to teach K–12th grade students in-center and/or online. Instructors use the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting, while monitoring students’ learning progress and engagement. The role includes learning to use digital educational materials and processes. The center provides continuous training, curriculum, and instructional tools. The position offers consistent part-time hours after school and on weekends in a fun, supportive, and encouraging work culture, with opportunities for advancement. Mathnasium Learning Centers are committed to helping children understand, master, and love math. Their curriculum is based on the Mathnasium Method™, developed through decades of hands-on instruction and development. Centers are independently owned and operated by franchisees, who are responsible for employment matters.

Requirements

Passion for math and working with students.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Eagerness to learn and be trained.
Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I.
Complete a math literacy test as part of the hiring process to demonstrate math proficiency.

Responsibilities
