About The Position
Mathnasium of Crabapple is seeking a Math Instructor / Tutor to teach K–12th grade students in-center and/or online using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices. Instructors work with team members to provide individualized instruction in a group setting and monitor students’ learning progress and engagement during sessions. The position includes training in effective teaching methodologies and the curriculum and instructional tools needed for the work. Hours are part-time, consistently scheduled after school and on weekends.
Requirements
- Passion for math and working with students.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Eagerness to learn and be trained.
- Exceptional math competency through at least Pre-Calculus.
- All applicants must take a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Teach students in-center and/or online using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting.
- Assess students’ learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions.
- Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes.
