About The Position

Mathnasium of Mathnasium (ID: 2418601) is seeking a Math Instructor / Tutor to teach K–12 students in-center and/or online using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices. Instructors collaborate with team members to provide individualized instruction in a group setting, monitor students’ learning progress and engagement, and become proficient with digital educational materials and processes. The role offers consistent part-time hours after school and on weekends, a supportive work culture, and ongoing training. Applicants must be available at least three days per week during center hours of Monday–Thursday, 2:30 PM–7:00 PM, and complete a math literacy test as part of the hiring process. Mathnasium Learning Centers teach children math so they can understand it, master it, and love it. Their curriculum is based on the Mathnasium Method™, developed through decades of hands-on instruction. Locations are independently owned and operated by franchisees, who are responsible for employment matters and serve as the employer for center employees.

Requirements

Passion for math and working with students.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Eagerness to learn and be trained.
Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra 2.
Availability at least three days per week during center hours: Monday–Thursday, 2:30 PM–7:00 PM.
Completion of a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency as part of the hiring process.
