About The Position

Mathnasium of Villages of Westcreek is seeking a math tutor to create an engaging and productive learning experience for students. The role involves providing individualized instruction in a group setting at the center, online, and/or through hybrid delivery, using the Mathnasium Method, terminology, and teaching practices. The position is part-time with flexible hours. The center has been open for two years and typically employs 5–8 instructors, mostly college students.

Requirements

• Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra 2.
• A passion for math and working with students.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional instruction and tutoring services to students.
• Interact positively with parents.
• Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes.
• Teach in-center, online, and/or through hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method, terminology, and teaching practices.
• Assess students’ progress throughout instructional sessions.
• Work collaboratively with team members to deliver the best learning experience.
