About The Position

Mathnasium of Crabapple is seeking a Math Instructor / Tutor to teach K–12 students in-center and/or online using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices. Instructors work collaboratively with the team to provide individualized instruction in a group setting, assess students’ learning progress and engagement, and become proficient with digital educational materials and processes. The position offers consistent part-time hours after school and on weekends, a supportive work culture, ongoing training in teaching methodologies, and opportunities for advancement. The center provides the curriculum and instructional tools. Applicants must complete a math literacy test as part of the hiring process. Mathnasium Learning Centers teach children math so they can understand it, master it, and love it. The centers are independently owned and operated by franchisees, who are responsible for employment matters and serve as the employer for center staff. Compensation is $12.00–$20.00 per hour.

Requirements

Passion for math and working with students.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Eagerness to learn and be trained.
Exceptional math competency through at least Pre-Calculus.
Complete a math literacy test to demonstrate math proficiency as part of the hiring process.
