About The Position

The full-time Material Handler keeps operations moving safely in a waste management setting. This role handles biohazardous and medical waste, supports site cleanliness and compliance, and moves solid waste and recyclables across the site. The schedule is Thursday and Friday from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM and Saturday and Sunday from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, for a set 40-hour schedule across four days. The position is located on US 70 BUS in Clayton, North Carolina.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• Forklift and pallet jack experience.
• Solid communication skills and attention to safety details.
• Ability and willingness to wear all required personal protective equipment.
• Willingness to work the dedicated night and weekend shift.

Responsibilities

• Safely handle, package, label, and stage biohazardous and medical waste.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move solid waste and recyclables across the site.
• Wear all required personal protective equipment and follow safety standards.
• Maintain accurate logs for weights, temperatures, autoclave testing, and destruction manifests.
• Partner with site leaders to address urgent disposal or recycling requests.
• Help ensure site cleanliness and compliance.
