About The Position

320 Market Cafe is seeking dependable, capable, and team-oriented individuals to work in a busy, fast-paced kitchen environment. This entry-level position involves washing and sanitizing dishes, maintaining kitchen and other assigned areas, handling waste and recycling, and assisting with basic food preparation and cooking tasks as needed. The Dishwasher follows instructions from Kitchen Managers and complies with nutrition, sanitation, and safety standards while maintaining a positive, professional approach with coworkers and customers.

The schedule is Wednesday through Sunday, PM. Pay is $14–$16 per hour, plus pooled tips after a 90-day probationary period; tips are generally $4–$6 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Clean, wash, and sanitize dishes.
• Maintain and clean dishwashing stations, tools, and equipment.
• Maintain and clean floors, work tables, work areas, bathrooms, and other areas as assigned.
• Properly dispose of trash, cardboard, and recyclable materials in assigned dumpsters, and keep dumpster areas clean and sanitary.
• Perform routine and non-routine deep-cleaning tasks as assigned.
• Assist with basic food preparation and cooking-related tasks as needed.
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
• Answer to, report to, and follow Kitchen Managers' instructions.
