About The Position

The full-time Material Handler supports safe site operations in a waste management setting. The role handles, packages, labels, and stages biohazardous and medical waste; operates warehouse equipment to move solid waste and recyclables; follows PPE and safety requirements; maintains operational records; and works with site leaders on urgent disposal and recycling requests. The fixed 40-hour schedule is Thursday and Friday from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, and Saturday and Sunday from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM. The position is located in Clayton, North Carolina, and pays $15.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license.
• Solid communication skills and attention to safety details.
• Willingness to work the dedicated night and weekend shift.
• Ability to wear all required personal protective equipment.

• Forklift and pallet jack experience.

Responsibilities

• Safely handle, package, label, and stage biohazardous and medical waste.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move solid waste and recyclables across the site.
• Wear required personal protective equipment and follow safety standards.
• Maintain accurate logs for weights, temperatures, autoclave testing, and destruction manifests.
• Partner with site leaders to respond to urgent disposal or recycling requests.
