Material Handler - Part Time Shifts
About The Position
McKesson is hiring warehouse associates for its Distribution Center. Material Handlers support effective order fulfillment by moving efficiently during their shifts so healthcare products are shipped quickly and accurately. The role includes on-the-job training and certification to operate power industrial equipment, specialized processes, and advanced automation. The part-time schedule is Sunday from 7:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. and Monday through Thursday from 10:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m., with either Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday off. The posting lists night-shift starting pay of $20.60 per hour, increasing to as much as $21.78 per hour within the first 12 months. Eligible Material Handlers may also earn performance-based incentive pay, with top performers earning up to about $1.75 per hour. In periods of high demand, employees may need to work beyond scheduled times. Schedules are generally shared two weeks in advance, and available shifts may change and be discussed during the interview.
Requirements
- Entry-level experience.
- Ability to walk up to 10 miles during a shift; the distance varies by shift.
- Ability to repeatedly lift 20 to 50 pounds without assistance during a shift; weight varies by product.
