About The Position

Performs routine duties required to store, record, and ship component parts or finished goods to customers and other destinations. Performs a variety of activities requiring communication and support to other departments, as well as other related work. The position is responsible for meeting established quality and quantity levels, maintaining housekeeping standards, following safe work practices, and supporting the implementation, achievement, and maintenance of the Quality and Environmental Policies.

Requirements

• High school degree, GED, or higher.
• Forklift experience.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Good mathematical skills.
• Ability to lift loads up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Compare identification and counts, weigh and measure outgoing shipment items to verify them against bills of lading, invoices, orders, and records.
• Pull, unpack, and examine outgoing shipments; record damaged items and report damages and shortages.
• Receive orders from Production Control and fill those orders for shipment.
• Meet established quality and quantity levels of assigned work.
• Maintain housekeeping and follow safe work practices.
• Support the implementation, achievement, and maintenance of the Quality and Environmental Policies.
• Perform related work and provide communication and support to other departments as required.
