About The Position

Disdero Lumber, a wholesale lumber distributor, is hiring a full-time Material Handler - Order Puller. This in-person position is based in Clackamas, Oregon, and pays $22.00–$23.00 per hour. The expected workweek is 40–50 hours. The role uses RF scanners to pick orders accurately and promptly, maintain safe and organized stock locations, and help the warehouse meet daily production goals. Requirements

Ability to operate forklifts as needed.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
Ability to perform heavy lifting up to 100 pounds.
Ability to commute to Clackamas, OR 97015.
Order picking experience is preferred; the posting lists one year as preferred.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center.
Familiarity with order picking using an RF scanner.
One year of order-picking experience.
Knowledge of warehouse operations and processes.

Responsibilities

Use an RF scanner to select orders in a timely and accurate manner.
Stock dedicated locations and keep them safe and organized.
Inspect and verify items and quantities to ensure accuracy and quality control.
Communicate with forklift operators to bring in overflow stock as needed to complete orders and keep bins stocked.
Collaborate with warehouse supervisors and team members to meet daily production goals.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Communicate with management daily.
