About The Position

Litehouse Foods is hiring a Material Handler II for its Formulation team in Lowell on the 3rd shift. The role supports food manufacturing operations by moving and handling materials, processing orders and shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, and following food safety, quality, and workplace safety standards. The position is in a cool, refrigerated environment and may require overtime and weekend work. Starting pay is $19.97 per hour, with an additional $3 per hour for 3rd shift.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED strongly preferred.
Forklift experience preferred; the company will provide certification if needed.
Comfortable working in a cool, refrigerated environment.
Strong attention to detail, self-motivation, and ability to work independently.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Must be able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

Operate powered industrial trucks, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to move, load, unload, and stack materials.
Pick and stack customer orders and accurately and safely receive vendor shipments.
Maintain precise inventory records using handheld scanners and internal systems.
Follow proper stacking patterns and pallet configurations to meet quality and safety standards.
Keep workspaces clean and organized through regular housekeeping duties.
Follow Food Safety and Quality policies at all times.
Work overtime and weekends as required.
