About The Position

The Material Cycle Counter verifies quantities and product and material descriptions for items received, shipped, or moved throughout the facility. The role scans inventory transactions and locations, investigates discrepancies, follows up on min/max violations, and adjusts inventory records after verification. It also assists the Materials Supervisor and Manager with maintaining PFEP and helps lead and train teams for the annual physical inventory.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Willingness to work overtime and varied shift assignments as required, including Saturdays when needed.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Scan receipts, issues to lines, returns, and barcode locations.
• Verify quantities and descriptions of products and materials received, shipped, or moved throughout the facility.
• Investigate and report inventory discrepancies.
• Follow up on all reported min/max violations.
• Adjust inventory records after verification.
• Assist the Materials Supervisor and Manager with maintaining PFEP.
• Lead and train teams for annual physical inventory.
