About The Position

The Cycle Counter performs continuous cycle counts of inventory in a timely manner while on their feet. The role researches available data to resolve discrepancies and follows proper inventory control procedures. The position pays a base hourly rate of $22.75–$23.25. Starting pay is determined based on qualifications, experience, education, and geographic location.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar position.
• Experience operating a forklift.
• Experience using computer applications, including MS Office.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• High school education or equivalent.
• Ability to follow policies and safety procedures.
• Ability to lift and/or pull 50 pounds without restriction.
• Ability to stand and walk for continuous periods.
• Availability to work irregular or extended hours, including weekends and potentially holidays, as needed by the customer.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical inventory counts and compare results with system data.
• Research discrepancies between physical and system counts.
• Communicate cycle count findings to those responsible for inventory.
• Follow cycle counting procedures and guidelines.
• Maintain inventory count records and data files.
• Investigate the origin of discrepancies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Perform duties as instructed by management.
