About The Position

The Inventory Cycle Counter performs physical inventory counts and researches ways to improve inventory-process efficiency. The role counts materials, equipment, merchandise, and supplies to maintain warehouse inventory records and support quality assurance in warehouse practices. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM, at $20.50 per hour.

Requirements

High school degree or General Educational Development (GED).
Ability to work scheduled and assigned times and required overtime.
Ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift.
Ability to lift, stack, and/or pull products from shelves and replenish products at various heights; items typically weigh 10–35 pounds and may weigh approximately 60–90 pounds depending on location.
Ability to work in multi-temperature environments, including cooler, freezer, and dry areas.
Ability to obtain certifications for powered equipment, such as forklift operation.

Responsibilities

Count in-stock materials, equipment, merchandise, and supplies and create total inventory records.
Compare physical inventories with office records and compute figures from records.
Verify clerical computations against physical stock counts and investigate discrepancies.
Monitor inventory rotations and make recommendations as needed.
Prepare reports, including inventory balances, weekly cycle counts, and production breakdowns.
Prepare lists of depleted items and recommend surveys of defective or unusable items.
Review and investigate daily reports directed by the Auditor.
Maintain shrink at or below company standards.
Understand how the overall business and its departments affect inventory and its integrity.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
