About The Position

The Cycle Counter performs continuous inventory cycle counts in a timely manner while on their feet. This role researches available data to resolve discrepancies and follows proper inventory control procedures. The position may require irregular or extended hours, including weekends and potentially holidays, based on customer needs.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar position.
• Experience operating a forklift.
• Experience using computer applications, including MS Office.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• High school education or equivalent.
• Ability to follow policies and safety procedures.
• Ability to lift and/or pull 50 lbs without restriction.
• Ability to stand and walk for continuous periods.
• Availability to work irregular or extended hours, including weekends and potentially holidays, as needed by the customer.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical inventory counts and compare results with system data.
• Research discrepancies between physical counts and system counts.
• Communicate cycle-count findings to those responsible for inventory.
• Follow cycle-counting procedures and guidelines.
• Maintain inventory count records and data files.
• Investigate the origin of discrepancies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Perform duties as instructed by management.
